Hello everyone! Rainbow here - do you remember me?
Oh dear, it has been such a long time but Mummy has been so busy and now she says there may be major changes ahead for us ... I have tried to be patient ...
A few minutes ago she sat down so I climbed onto her lap and looked at her beseechingly.
"Yes, Rainbow", she said. "Just give me five minutes and then we will write a very brief post for your blog".
So, my furiends, we wish you and your humans a very Happy Christmas.

My First Blogoversary
Hello, everyone!
Would you like to round off your easy Sunday by joining me in a small celebration to mark my First Blogoversary?
Mummy has been so busy recently that I was afraid she had forgotten - not her! She has been working hard all day to give me this wonderful surprise party.
There are all sorts of canapes - prawn, tuna, smoked salmon, ham, cheese ... and the Champagne is on ice.
So, come on over - let's party!!

Naughty Rainbow
I have been naughty. In fact, Mummy said that I was very, very naughty!
I was only trying to help. Really, I was.
Do you remember that horrid mouse - the one that sits by the computer?
Mummy was getting upset and so frustrated because it wasn't working properly; she was growling like a very angry woofie and using words which made my toesies curl! I had to cover my ears.
"Poor Mummy", I thought. "What can I do?"
I made a plan - After all, we kitties know how to treat a mouse, don't we ... ?
The next time Mummy left the room, I climbed onto the computer table and pounced. After giving the mouse a thorough chew, I tossed it onto the floor where it landed with rather a crash. Then I settled down, trying to look innocent and angelic!!
Mummy was not fooled - the noise made her rush back and she cried out, "Oh no! What shall I do now? Rainbow, you are so naughty!"
So, I have been in disgrace, but, a few moments ago, Mummy gave me a hug and a little cuddle so I hope she is beginning to realise that I meant well.

Talking on Thursday
Hello, everyone.
Yes, I am here again - my appearance on Monday was not just a "flash in the pan"!
The last few days have been beautifully warm and sunny so I have enjoyed moving from window to window; watching the world go by. Several times, my furs got really hot - absolute bliss.
Once or twice, Mummy was hovering with the flashy picture box. I tried to help by keeping still ...
Now, our computer mouse is playing up!
I have offered to sort it out with a bitey or a good whapping but, for some reason, Mummy does not think that would be a good idea.

Marvellous Monday
Yes, it has been a marvellous day because I am back with you after an unscheduled blogcation!
During the recent very cold weather, I have had to excuse Mummy from most of her typing duties because the "human V-E-T" has told her it is very important that she keeps warm - our computer room is in the coldest part of the house.
Now it is much warmer and the sun has been shining so she is under strict instructions to help me to update my blog and catch up with visiting all my friends; to make sure she does not get diverted from her task, I am sitting on her lap snoopervising ...
So, what have I been up to?
Mostly, keeping warm by snuggling up with Mummy - she says I am better than a hot water bottle!
We celebrated Easter with lots of treats - chocolate for Mummy; ham, cheese and chicken for me.
Life is quiet and peaceful which is how I like it - I know that I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful forever home so I have tried not to complain but I have missed you all, particularly my special friend Harry.
To those of you whose birthdays, gotcha days, blogoversaries and other celebrations I have missed, congratulations and every good wish; I shall be visiting and leaving you some rather belated comments soon.
Meanwhile, I am hoping to avoid future blogcations by persuading Mummy to buy a laptop.

Rainbow on Caturday
A few moments ago Mummy called me:
"Come on Rainbow",
she said and moved towards the computer, so now I am sitting on her lap, snoopervising ...
Yes, my blog is going to be updated - she is keeping her promise!
It was very cold earlier this week so, apart from a short spell on Tuesday when I was able to keep my fur warm as I sat by a sunny window, I spent most of the time in "tortoise mode", curled into a tight ball on my cosiest blanket.
Yesterday, I had a delicious surprise.
On Thursday evening, Mummy went to a Chinese Banquet; guess what she brought home? Yes, a "kitty-bag" full of special treats - chicken strips, duck and prawns - what a series of feasts, I have had.
So, that is the week, chez Rainbow - not very eventful, but I did enjoy my treats, especially the duck - thank you , Mummy!

Easy Sunday - Mother's Day
Hello everyone, Rainbow here ...
Today we have been having an easy Sunday and I have been snuggling up with Mummy and giving her lots of special purrs for Mother's Day.
So, what has been happening?
Mummy calls it winter hibernation and it is true that while it is really cold I like to keep warm and cosy by curling up into a tight little ball. I burrow into a comfy blanket in a dark corner - rather like a tortoise, Mummy says!
The truth is that Mummy has been very busy; I keep looking at the computer to see whether I can find out what is happening to my furiends and hoping to update my blog but my wistful stares have gone unnoticed!
I have not been neglected - there have been plenty of hugs and cuddles and lots of special treats - it's just that I haven't been able to talk to my furiends and I have been missing you all so much.
But now I have GOOD NEWS - Mummy has PROMISED to spend more time helping me with my blog.
